Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Saucefox. By creating an account or using a vault page you agree to them. Questions: support@saucefox.com.
1. The service
Saucefox lets creators publish vault pages with downloadable resources that viewers unlock by verifying a YouTube subscription or, where enabled, by submitting an email address. The verified-subscription access model is currently being submitted to YouTube for a compliance determination and may be changed or disabled based on that review. During beta, accounts operate on the free plan.
2. YouTube and Google terms
Saucefox uses YouTube API Services. By using Saucefox features that access those services, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. You should also review the Google Privacy Policy. Saucefox is not endorsed by or affiliated with YouTube or Google.
3. Creator responsibilities
- You may only connect a YouTube channel you own. Publishing requires ownership verification.
- You must hold the rights to every file you upload and may not distribute unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.
- Vaults must offer genuine standalone value. Saucefox is a way to distribute creator-owned resources — not a tool for artificial or deceptive engagement. Automated subscribing, bought or exchanged engagement, and any use that violates YouTube policies are prohibited and lead to removal.
- If you collect viewer emails, you are the data controller for those leads and must honor viewer deletion requests.
4. Viewers
- Unlocking with YouTube grants Saucefox a single read-only permission used once to check your subscription; see the Trust page.
- Subscribing is always your choice. Saucefox never subscribes on your behalf and cannot change anything on your account.
- You can revoke Saucefox from Google Account permissions and request deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
No abuse, no attempts to circumvent verification or signed download URLs, no scraping, no uploading of malware, no impersonation of creators or channels.
6. Content & takedowns
We may disable vaults that violate these terms or applicable law. Rights holders can report content to support@saucefox.com.
7. Availability & liability
The service is provided “as is” during beta. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saucefox is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to account holders in advance.
